BillTrace is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that automatically finds, categorizes, and monitors recurring software and cloud spend across a company. It connects to email, accounting, and bank/credit card feeds to detect subscriptions, then builds a clean renewal calendar with owner assignment and approval workflows. The app flags price increases, unused seats, duplicate tools, and “shadow IT” purchases, and it nudges owners before renewals with one-click actions: cancel, downgrade, or request budget approval. It also generates audit-friendly reports for finance and security (what tools exist, who pays, who owns them, and what data access they likely have). This is a traditional app with AI assistance: AI is used to extract vendors and terms from invoices/emails and to suggest consolidation opportunities, but the core value is accurate tracking and workflow, not chatbots.
