BindBrief is a web app (with optional Outlook/Gmail add-in) that converts chaotic commercial insurance submission packages into a standardized underwriting brief. It ingests emails, PDFs, ACORD forms, loss runs, schedules, and supplemental apps, then extracts key fields, flags missing items, and produces a one-page “Underwriter Snapshot” plus a structured data export for your rating workflow. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional rules handle deterministic checks (required docs by line of business, effective dates, named insured consistency), while AI handles document classification, entity resolution, and summarization with citations back to source pages. The goal is not to “auto-underwrite,” but to cut the first 30–60 minutes of every account into 5–10 minutes, reduce rework, and improve handoffs between assistants, underwriters, and brokers.
