BiocharOps

BiocharOps is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) for small-to-mid biochar producers who need credible carbon-removal accounting without hiring a full-time MRV team. It tracks feedstock intake, moisture, pyrolysis run parameters, energy use, and biochar outputs, then generates an audit-ready “chain of custody” and carbon-removal estimate aligned to common biochar methodologies. It also manages inventory lots, sampling schedules, lab results, and buyer deliveries so credits and physical product don’t get mixed. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps detect inconsistent logs (e.g., impossible yields, missing temperature profiles), flags likely data gaps before an audit, and drafts evidence packets for verifiers. It will not magically “prove” removals; it makes the paperwork and traceability less painful and reduces expensive verification back-and-forth.
