BioVarMap

BioVarMap is a web app (traditional + AI) that helps biomarker teams stop fooling themselves with “significant” results that are actually driven by pre-analytical and clinical confounders. Users upload a biomarker dataset (CSV) plus a minimal metadata sheet (collection time, fasting status, storage duration, freeze-thaw count, meds, comorbidities, site). The app automatically profiles variability, flags likely confounding patterns, and generates a defensible “confounder-adjusted” report with recommended covariates, stratifications, and exclusion rules. It also produces a standardized methods appendix for internal review, IRB submissions, and sponsor updates. This is not a magic biomarker discovery engine; it’s a pragmatic workflow tool to reduce false positives, shorten back-and-forth with statisticians, and improve reproducibility across sites. It supports common study types: case-control, longitudinal, and multi-site observational cohorts.
