BiteBridge
BiteBridge is a mobile + web app for clinicians and EMS that turns a suspected snakebite or envenomation into a clear, time-stamped action plan: what to do now, what not to do, and where to send the patient. The app guides users through a short triage flow (symptoms, geography, bite circumstances, photos if available) and outputs likely species groups, severity flags, and recommended next steps based on regional protocols. Crucially, it also helps locate the nearest facilities that actually stock the relevant antivenom and shows contact/transfer steps, because “hospital nearby” often doesn’t mean “antivenom available.” It includes offline mode for rural coverage, a one-tap poison center call button, and a printable handoff summary for receiving EDs. This is not a consumer snake-ID toy; it’s a workflow tool aimed at reducing delays and bad transfers.
