BiteMeter

BiteMeter is a mobile + web app for working-dog handlers and clubs who need consistent, defensible bitework and performance tracking. Handlers record short training clips (e.g., grip, outs, re-attacks, guarding, obedience under drive) and optionally pair a Bluetooth tug/sleeve sensor to capture pull force and duration. The app auto-tags reps, builds a session scorecard, and highlights trends like weaker grips on certain presentations or slower outs under distraction. It also generates clean, shareable reports for trainers, decoys, and agencies, reducing arguments based on “feel” and memory. This is not a magic ‘train your dog’ app; it’s measurement and documentation. If users don’t record sessions consistently, it won’t help. But for serious teams, it turns scattered notes into comparable data over time.
