BitrateBouncer

BitrateBouncer is a web app + lightweight desktop agent that continuously tests your live and VOD streams from real networks and devices, then flags issues that actually impact viewers: startup delay spikes, rebuffering, audio/video drift, DRM failures, CDN edge anomalies, and ad-stitching breaks. Instead of generic uptime checks, it runs scripted “viewer journeys” (play, seek, switch quality, midroll ad, resume) on a schedule across regions, ISPs, and device profiles. It aggregates QoE metrics into a single health score per title/channel and pinpoints likely root causes (packaging ladder mismatch, bad segments, key rotation, manifest errors, CDN misconfig). Alerts route to Slack/PagerDuty with evidence: HAR logs, player events, and segment samples. This is a traditional app with AI-assisted anomaly detection and automated triage summaries, not a magical “AI will fix streaming” promise.
