BlamelessLog
BlamelessLog is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) that turns incident timelines into fast, consistent postmortems and tracks follow-through. It ingests alerts, chat threads, and ticket events to auto-build a timeline, then guides responders through a short, structured write-up: impact, detection, contributing factors, and concrete action items. The AI component suggests missing details, clusters similar incidents, and proposes remediation tasks based on prior fixes—while keeping humans in control with explicit approvals. The product focuses on the unglamorous part most teams fail at: closing the loop. It includes lightweight governance: due dates, owners, reminders, and an “action-item burn-down” view for engineering leadership. Expect resistance if your org doesn’t value process; this app won’t magically change culture. But for teams already running incidents, it removes the friction that causes postmortems to rot.
