BlamelessLog

BlamelessLog is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) that helps teams capture failures while details are fresh, then turns them into concise learning artifacts. Instead of long postmortems nobody reads, it guides users through a 10-minute “Failure Snapshot” (what happened, impact, contributing factors, detection gaps, decision points) and auto-generates a one-page learning brief plus a checklist-style prevention playbook. It also tracks whether actions actually got done by syncing owners and due dates to Jira/Linear, then surfaces recurring patterns across incidents (e.g., “handoff gaps,” “missing alerts,” “risky deploy windows”). The AI is used for summarization, clustering, and drafting—humans still approve everything. The goal is practical: reduce repeat incidents and shorten recovery time, not create perfect documentation.
