BlindLedger
BlindLedger is a web app (with optional desktop plugin) that creates tamper-evident “review receipts” for peer review. Reviewers write and submit their review as usual, but the app generates a cryptographic proof of what was submitted, when, and to which journal/conference workflow—without exposing the manuscript content or reviewer identity. Editors can verify that a review was delivered on time and meets basic completeness checks, while reviewers can later demonstrate service for promotion/tenure or workload audits without breaking confidentiality. This is not a magic AI that writes reviews; it’s an integrity and verification layer that plugs into existing systems via email ingestion and lightweight integrations. Realistically, adoption will be slow unless it reduces admin pain and aligns with publisher policies, so the product must focus on minimal friction and clear compliance controls.
