BlockSite

BlockSite is a mobile app that turns a kid’s existing building bricks into guided, achievable builds without buying new sets. Parents (or kids) quickly scan a handful of pieces on a table; the app identifies common brick types and suggests 3–5 build options matched to what’s available. Each build is broken into short steps with big visuals, a progress bar, and “swap piece” alternatives when the exact part isn’t found. It’s intentionally not a full CAD toy—kids stay in the physical world, and the app simply reduces frustration and decision fatigue. A parent mode provides difficulty controls, time-boxed challenges, and printable “build cards” for offline play. Monetization is realistic: a small subscription for weekly new builds and themed packs, plus optional one-time purchases for classroom licenses.
