BlurbForge

BlurbForge is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps romance and genre authors produce high-converting book descriptions, ad copy, and retailer metadata without sounding generic. You paste your draft blurb, synopsis, or first chapter, select subgenre, heat level, tropes, and comps, and the app generates multiple blurb variants optimized for Amazon/Apple/Kobo character limits and formatting norms. It also flags common conversion killers (too vague stakes, missing hook, trope mismatch, confusing POV, overlong setup) and suggests concrete fixes. A built-in “A/B Pack” creates 3–5 blurbs plus matching taglines and keywords so authors can test quickly. This is an AI app with traditional workflow tools: versioning, change tracking, and a simple performance log to record which blurb was used and how it performed over time. It’s not magic—results still depend on the author’s premise and market fit—but it can save hours and reduce costly trial-and-error.
