BoilerBench

BoilerBench is a web + mobile app that helps small and mid-sized building operators reduce natural-gas boiler emissions using operational tuning, not capital projects. It ingests interval gas/electric data (utility Green Button where available), basic boiler specs, and local weather to benchmark performance, flag waste patterns (short-cycling, high standby losses, overheating), and generate a weekly action list (setpoint schedules, reset curves, maintenance checks). It also estimates avoided CO2 and fuel savings with confidence ranges, so users can justify changes to owners. This is not a magic “net-zero” tool: it focuses on the unglamorous 5–20% savings that are realistically achievable in older buildings. The product is designed for portfolios that lack dedicated energy engineers and can’t afford enterprise energy management platforms.
