BoilerBuddy

BoilerBuddy is a web + mobile app (traditional + AI) for small commercial buildings that flags boiler and hydronic heating inefficiency using data you already have: utility bills, thermostat schedules, and a couple of low-cost temperature sensors (supply/return, outdoor). It builds a simple baseline of expected heating energy vs. weather, then alerts when the building is short-cycling, running overnight, overheating zones, or suffering from poor delta-T—issues that quietly burn money for months. The app translates technical signals into actionable work orders (e.g., “adjust outdoor reset curve,” “fix stuck valve,” “rebalance loop,” “repair failed sensor”), with estimated savings and confidence levels. It’s not a full BMS replacement; it’s a focused diagnostic layer for buildings that can’t afford energy engineers or complex commissioning. The goal is quick wins: fewer service calls, lower gas use, and fewer tenant comfort complaints.
