BOMGuard

BOMGuard is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams alerts) that monitors semiconductor parts in your BOM for lifecycle risk: EOL/NRND notices, lead-time spikes, allocation signals, PCNs, and second-source viability. You upload a BOM (CSV/Excel), map MPNs, and the app continuously refreshes risk scores using distributor feeds and manufacturer notices, then flags the exact line items that threaten builds. It also maintains an approved alternates list per part, tracks qualification status, and generates a weekly “buildability” report for purchasing and hardware teams. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional integrations and rules handle the basics, while AI extracts and normalizes messy PCN/EOL PDFs, matches near-equivalent parts, and drafts impact summaries for engineers. It’s not glamorous, but it targets a real, recurring operational headache that burns time and causes missed ship dates.
