BookerBench

BookerBench is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for independent distributors and sales agents to sanity-check theatrical booking and rollout decisions using comparable-title performance and venue-level signals. Users upload a simple booking sheet (markets, theaters, dates, terms) and the app scores it against historical comps, highlighting likely under/over-booked markets, risky screen counts, and realistic per-theater averages. It also tracks actuals vs plan, flags when to add/drop screens, and generates a one-page weekly exhibitor update. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI is used to suggest comps, normalize messy theater names, and draft negotiation-ready notes, but the core value is clean data workflows and benchmarking. Brutal truth: the hardest part is acquiring reliable box office + theater metadata; the MVP must start with a limited dataset and clear “confidence” labels to avoid overpromising.
