BookPulse
BookPulse is a mobile + web app for small book clubs that struggle with follow-through. Instead of endless chat threads and vague “we should read this,” it turns a book into a lightweight, scheduled experience: a shared reading pace, short check-ins, and discussion prompts tied to specific chapters. Members can react without writing essays, and the app nudges the group only when it matters (missed milestones, upcoming discussion windows). It also supports “drop-in” micro-clubs for busy readers: 2-week sprints around novellas or nonfiction chapters. Recommendations are driven by club behavior (completion rates, preferred pacing, genre tolerance) rather than generic popularity lists. The goal isn’t to replace Goodreads; it’s to make a club run smoothly and keep people reading together with minimal admin work.
