BootBeacon

BootBeacon is a web + lightweight on-host agent app that detects early signs of server and workstation hardware failure using boot-time and low-level health signals most teams ignore. It collects SMART/NVMe wear, ECC memory error counts, IPMI/BMC sensor anomalies, RAID controller events, and recurring kernel/WHEA logs, then turns them into a simple risk score with clear, actionable recommendations (swap disk, reseat DIMM, update firmware, schedule maintenance window). This is not a full monitoring suite; it’s a focused “hardware failure early warning” layer that integrates with what teams already use (Slack, Teams, PagerDuty, ServiceNow). An AI component summarizes noisy logs into human-readable root-cause hypotheses and suggested next checks, but the core value works without AI. The goal is fewer surprise outages, fewer midnight pages, and better evidence when arguing for replacements.
