BoreLogLite

BoreLogLite is a mobile + web app for geotechnical and environmental field teams to capture borehole and test-pit logs quickly, consistently, and with fewer transcription errors. It provides standardized templates (USCS/ASTM-style fields), offline-first data entry, photo capture with depth tags, and automatic export to client-ready PDFs and AGS-like spreadsheets. The AI component helps by suggesting soil descriptions from short notes and photos, flagging inconsistent depths (e.g., sample intervals that overlap), and auto-filling repetitive fields based on nearby layers—while still requiring human confirmation. This is not a “magic geology” app; it’s a practical data-capture and reporting tool that saves hours per hole and reduces rework. It also supports simple project management: assign holes, track completion, and sync data when back online.
