BounceSleuth

BounceSleuth is a web app (with optional API) that turns raw bounce logs into actionable deliverability fixes. It ingests bounce events from SMTP providers and ESP webhooks, normalizes them across vendors, and classifies them into a consistent taxonomy (hard/soft, policy, auth, DNS, reputation, mailbox full, content, blocklist, etc.). Instead of just showing counts, it surfaces the likely root cause and the next best action: which domains are failing, whether SPF/DKIM/DMARC alignment is breaking, if a new IP warmed too fast, or if a specific template correlates with policy bounces. It also generates “fix checklists” per sending domain and tracks whether changes reduce bounces over time. This is not a magic deliverability tool; it won’t bypass blocks. It’s a practical diagnostic layer that helps teams stop guessing and stop burning sender reputation.
