Boundarify

Boundarify is a web app (with optional desktop export tools) that helps sustainability teams define, document, and defend system boundaries for footprints, LCAs, and ESG reporting. It guides users through boundary choices (organizational vs. product, operational control vs. equity share, cradle-to-gate vs. cradle-to-grave) and forces explicit assumptions, exclusions, and data-quality notes. The app outputs audit-ready boundary statements, diagrams, and a “change log” that tracks what moved and why across reporting periods. It also flags common boundary inconsistencies (e.g., excluding logistics while claiming full lifecycle) and highlights where boundary decisions materially change results. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI assists by suggesting missing boundary elements, detecting contradictions in text, and generating plain-language disclosures, but users must approve everything. The goal is less greenwashing risk, fewer consultant hours, and faster assurance prep.
