BoundaryBot

BoundaryBot is a web + Slack/Teams app that reduces burnout by enforcing practical work boundaries through calendar and messaging nudges. It detects patterns like back-to-back meetings, after-hours messaging, and chronic context switching, then proposes concrete fixes: auto-suggested focus blocks, meeting buffers, “no-meeting” windows, and lightweight async alternatives. Managers get team-level risk signals (not individual surveillance) with privacy-first aggregation and opt-in personal insights for employees. The AI component drafts polite boundary messages (“Can we move this to async?”), summarizes meeting load, and recommends schedule changes based on role and time zone. This isn’t a wellness app with meditation content; it’s operational wellbeing that changes the work system. Integrations with Google Calendar/Microsoft 365 and Slack/Teams make it hard to ignore and easy to adopt, with minimal daily effort from users.
