BoundaryBox

BoundaryBox is a mobile + web AI-assisted conflict de-escalation app for couples, roommates, and close friends who keep repeating the same arguments. Users create a shared “conflict profile” with triggers, hot-button topics, and non-negotiable boundaries. When a fight starts, either person can open a 5-minute guided flow: it forces turn-taking, summarizes each side in neutral language, and proposes two or three concrete next steps (pause, repair, compromise, or escalation to a mediator). It also schedules a short follow-up check-in so conflicts don’t get buried and resurface worse. The app is not therapy and won’t fix abusive relationships; it’s a structured tool for people who want to argue less destructively. Expect some users to churn—people avoid accountability—but the ones who stay will build a habit because it reduces immediate stress.
