BoundaryBuddy
BoundaryBuddy is a mobile AI + traditional app that helps teens rehearse real-life conversations before they happen: refusing vaping, handling pressure to share photos, pushing back on controlling friends, or asking parents for reasonable freedom. Users pick a scenario, choose the relationship (friend, partner, parent, coach), and role-play via chat or voice with an AI that responds like a realistic person—not a therapist. After each run, the app gives a short “what worked/what didn’t” breakdown, suggests 2-3 alternative lines, and lets users save a personal script. A private “panic button” mode generates a quick exit text and a follow-up message. It’s designed to be practical, not preachy, and it avoids collecting sensitive identifiers. The goal is skill-building: assertiveness, de-escalation, and safer decision-making in moments where teens usually freeze or cave.
