BoundaryMap is a web app (traditional + AI) that helps sustainability teams define, document, and defend system boundaries for carbon, waste, water, and circularity reporting. Most reporting failures happen because boundaries are vague: what sites, suppliers, product life stages, and time windows are included, and why. The app guides users through a structured boundary wizard aligned to GHG Protocol/ISO concepts, then generates an auditable “Boundary Memo” with assumptions, exclusions, data quality notes, and change logs. It connects to basic data sources (ERP exports, utility bills, supplier spreadsheets) and flags boundary inconsistencies over time (e.g., acquired facilities, outsourced processes, shifting scopes). AI is used to extract boundary-relevant details from contracts, invoices, and policy docs, but the user must approve every claim. The output is designed for internal governance and external assurance readiness, not glossy dashboards.
