BoundaryPing

BoundaryPing helps couples and close roommates negotiate personal and intimate space in a practical, low-drama way. Instead of vague “I need space” messages, users pick from short boundary templates (alone time, physical touch, sleep, phone-free time, chores, guests) and set a duration, urgency, and preferred check-in time. The app turns this into a clear request plus a simple “accept / counter / ask why” flow so the other person can respond without spiraling into an argument. A lightweight shared calendar shows planned “solo blocks” and “together blocks,” and a private journal helps each person notice patterns (e.g., touch overload after workdays). It’s not therapy and won’t fix broken relationships; it’s a communication tool that reduces ambiguity and resentment. Works best for people who already want to cooperate but struggle with timing and tone.
