BoundaryProof
BoundaryProof is a web + mobile app that tells you, with receipts, whether a parcel/address sits in an unincorporated area and which agencies actually govern it (county, special districts, fire, water, school, etc.). Users enter an address or drop a pin; the app returns a simple “Who’s in charge?” card plus a downloadable report for permits, business licensing, short-term rentals, and service requests. The hard part—messy boundary data—is handled by continuously ingesting county GIS layers, LAFCO boundary changes, and special-district shapefiles, then flagging conflicts and stale sources. An AI assistant helps non-experts interpret results (“Do I need a county permit or city permit?”) but the core output is deterministic and source-cited. Revenue comes from pro reports, API access for real-estate/inspections, and county subscriptions for reduced misrouted requests.
