BowlProof is a mobile + web app that monitors automated pet feeders for the failures owners actually worry about: jams, empty hoppers, missed schedules, battery drop, and Wi‑Fi outages. It connects to supported smart feeders via integrations where available, and for everything else it uses a cheap add-on approach: a phone camera “watch mode” or a small Bluetooth weight sensor under the bowl to confirm food actually dispensed. The app sends escalating alerts (push/SMS/call) and can notify a trusted neighbor or pet sitter if you’re unreachable. It also keeps a simple “proof of feeding” log with timestamps and optional photo snapshots, useful for multi-person households and sitters. This is not a magic AI pet nanny—just a reliability layer that reduces the most common real-world failure: assuming the feeder worked when it didn’t.
