BracketBuddy

BracketBuddy is a mobile + web app for individual combat-sport athletes (boxing, BJJ, judo, taekwondo, wrestling) to find safe, skill-matched sparring partners and open mats nearby. Users create a profile with discipline, weight class, experience level, preferred intensity, injury constraints, and availability. The app suggests matches and neutral locations (gyms that allow drop-ins, public mats, or partner gyms) and includes a simple “sparring agreement” checklist (ruleset, contact level, protective gear, rounds). It’s not a social network fantasy—just a scheduling and matching utility with clear filters and accountability. Verification is lightweight but real: gym affiliation, coach reference, or event record links. Monetization is straightforward: subscription for advanced filters, priority matching, and unlimited requests; gyms can pay for lead placement and drop-in promotion.
