BreachBrief

BreachBrief is a privacy incident companion that turns breach alerts into a clear, prioritized action plan. Users connect email aliases (or forward breach notices), and the app continuously checks reputable breach sources, credential dumps, and paste sites for matches. When something hits, it doesn’t just notify—it tells you exactly which accounts are likely exposed, whether the password appears reused, and the fastest steps to contain damage (reset order, 2FA recommendations, account lock, credit freeze prompts). It also generates a “cleanup checklist” you can complete in-app and stores proof-of-action notes for future disputes. This is not a magic shield: it won’t prevent breaches, and it can’t see everything. The value is speed, clarity, and reducing the chaos and procrastination that follow real-world leaks.
