BreachBrief

BreachBrief is a mobile + web app that monitors your real-world exposure and turns breach news into clear, prioritized actions. Connect email addresses (and optionally phone numbers) to watch for new breach appearances, credential dumps, and high-risk reuse patterns. Instead of dumping scary alerts, it ranks incidents by likelihood of account takeover and guides you through the fastest fixes: password resets for the right sites, enabling MFA, and removing old logins. It also generates a “security to-do list” you can finish in minutes, with reminders that stop once you’re actually safer. The app avoids pretending it can prevent breaches; it focuses on reducing damage after they happen. A lightweight “family mode” helps non-technical users protect parents/teens without sharing passwords. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional monitoring plus AI to summarize incidents and produce step-by-step remediation plans.
