BreatheBuddy

BreatheBuddy is a mobile + web app that helps parents and schools manage a child’s asthma and allergy action plan without relying on paper forms that get lost. Parents create a standardized, shareable plan (meds, triggers, emergency steps, provider contacts, consent) and grant access to specific caregivers, teachers, coaches, and babysitters. The app sends time-sensitive reminders for inhaler/spacer expiration, prescription refills, and seasonal trigger prep, and provides a “panic screen” with one-tap steps and contacts. It also logs symptoms and rescue-med use in a simple timeline that can be exported for pediatricians. This is a traditional app with light AI: optional AI-assisted summarization of logs into a doctor-ready note and trigger pattern hints. It’s realistic because it doesn’t try to diagnose—just reduces coordination failures.
