BreathShift

BreathShift is a mobile app (with optional web dashboard) that guides breathing and relaxation using your phone camera (PPG) or a wearable to estimate heart rate and HRV, then adjusts pacing in real time. Instead of generic inhale/exhale timers, it runs short “micro-sessions” (60–180 seconds) designed for specific moments: pre-meeting jitters, bedtime rumination, panic spikes, or post-work decompression. The app learns which patterns actually lower your physiological arousal for you, and it shows a simple before/after trend so users can tell if it’s working. It also includes a “quiet mode” for public settings (haptics-only), and a minimal journaling prompt to connect triggers with outcomes. This is an AI + traditional app: AI personalizes protocols and predicts which session will help most, but the core experience is deterministic and reliable.
