BrewDial is a mobile + web app for baristas and serious home espresso users who want consistent shots without burning through beans. You log a shot in under 15 seconds (dose, yield, time, grinder setting, roast date, and a quick taste score). The app then suggests the next adjustment (grind finer/coarser, change yield, tweak dose) using a rules-based engine plus lightweight AI that learns your grinder, basket, and coffee over time. It also tracks bean age, warns when a coffee is past its peak, and creates a simple “recipe card” you can share with your team. This is not a magic espresso robot: it won’t fix poor puck prep or bad water. But it can reduce trial-and-error, standardize dialing-in across shifts, and cut waste in busy cafes.
