BrickQuest

BrickQuest is a mobile + tablet app that gives kids short, structured building challenges using whatever blocks they already own (LEGO, magnetic tiles, wooden blocks, cardboard). Parents or teachers pick an age band and available materials, and the app serves 5–10 minute “quests” like “build a bridge that holds 10 coins” or “make a tower that survives a table shake.” Kids earn badges by completing photo check-ins, while adults get simple prompts to test stability, symmetry, and basic engineering ideas without lecturing. It’s not a full CAD toy; it’s a lightweight challenge engine that makes open-ended building less intimidating and more repeatable. The app includes a classroom mode for rotating stations and a printable quest pack for offline play. Realistically, it wins only if the quests are genuinely fun and the parent/teacher setup is frictionless.
