BridgeNest is a mobile + web app that unifies fragmented smart-home ecosystems into a single, reliable control layer. Instead of trying to be another “automation builder,” it focuses on the boring but painful reality: mixed brands, flaky integrations, and households where not everyone wants to learn routines. BridgeNest connects to major platforms (Home Assistant, SmartThings, Google Home, Alexa) and presents a consistent room-based UI, shared household permissions, and a simple “state view” (Home/Away/Sleep) that works even when one cloud service is down. It includes health checks for devices (battery, offline time, last event) and alerts that are actually actionable. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional integrations and controls, plus AI-generated troubleshooting summaries and suggested fixes when devices go offline or automations fail. The goal is fewer apps, fewer mysteries, and fewer support rabbit holes.
