BriefBoard is a web app (with optional iPad companion) that converts chaotic client emails, DMs, and call notes into a structured illustration brief you can actually work from. It ingests text, screenshots, and links, then produces a one-page spec: objective, audience, style references, required elements, do-not-dos, deliverables, sizes, deadlines, and a prioritized question list to send back to the client. It also generates a simple moodboard layout from provided references and flags contradictions (e.g., “minimal” + “lots of detail”). This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI handles summarization, conflict detection, and question generation; the rest is solid workflow, versioning, and client approval. The goal is not to “make art for you,” but to reduce rework, scope creep, and unpaid back-and-forth—where illustrators lose the most money.
