BriefShield
BriefShield is a web + desktop app that helps national security and executive staff prepare shareable briefing packets without accidental leaks. It ingests Word/PDF/PowerPoint and email exports, detects sensitive entities (names, locations, operations, sources/methods, classification markings), and produces a redacted, auditable version plus a “need-to-know” distribution bundle. It also flags risky screenshots, hidden metadata, tracked changes, and embedded objects that commonly slip through. Every change is logged with who/when/why, and outputs are watermarked and time-limited. This is a combination traditional + AI app: deterministic rules handle markings/metadata, while an on-prem LLM assists with context-aware sensitivity detection and suggested redactions. It’s realistic: it won’t replace security officers, but it will cut the repetitive, error-prone prep work that burns hours before meetings and interagency sharing.
