BrightBoard is a kid-safe, parent/teacher-controlled web + tablet app that turns simple storyboards into short videos kids can share with class or family. Kids drag scenes onto a timeline, choose characters/props, record their own voice, and add captions and sound effects from a curated library. The app auto-sizes everything for common formats (16:9, 9:16) and exports a single MP4 with no public posting built in. Adults get a moderation dashboard: project approval, restricted asset packs by age, and a “no faces/no names” privacy mode that blocks risky content patterns.
