BrollBuddy is a web + desktop companion for creators who shoot tons of footage and then waste hours hunting for the right cutaway. You drag in folders of raw video, and the app auto-generates lightweight previews and timestamps. You can quickly tag moments ("laugh", "product closeup", "street", "hands typing") and save them as reusable B-roll cards with notes, rights/source, and suggested contexts. An AI assistant can propose tags and detect common shot types, but it’s designed to be corrected fast—because auto-tagging is never perfect. The library becomes your personal B-roll bank, searchable by keyword, scene type, location, and time. Export selects as an EDL/CSV or directly as bins for popular editors so you stop rewatching the same clips every project.
