BroodPulse

BroodPulse is a mobile + web app for ant keepers that turns daily husbandry into actionable forecasts. You log quick signals (species, colony size, feeding, hydration, temperature, mold/mites, escape attempts) and optionally connect inexpensive Bluetooth temp/humidity sensors. The app builds a simple “colony health timeline” and predicts near-term milestones like egg-to-larva and larva-to-pupa windows, highlighting when you’re likely underfeeding, overheating, or keeping the nest too wet. It also includes a photo-based journal so you can compare brood piles week-to-week without guesswork. This is not magic: the app won’t identify species perfectly or replace experience. It’s a pragmatic assistant that reduces preventable losses, especially for beginners, by nudging you toward stable conditions and consistent routines.
