BrunchPulse is a mobile + web app that shows real-time brunch crowding and accurate wait-time predictions for nearby restaurants. Instead of relying on stale Google “busy” bars or restaurants that won’t pick up the phone, it combines lightweight restaurant inputs (one-tap table status updates) with anonymized location signals and historical patterns to forecast the next 60–90 minutes. Diners can join a “soft queue” (not a reservation) with arrival windows, get alerts when it’s the best time to leave, and see practical filters like patio availability, bottomless rules, kid-friendliness, and noise level. Restaurants get a simple dashboard to smooth demand (push slower-time promos, throttle soft-queue slots) without ripping out their POS. This is an AI-assisted app (prediction + anomaly detection) but the core value is operational: fewer wasted trips and fewer angry walk-ins.
