BunkerGuard is a web app with a lightweight mobile companion for ship operators and bunker buyers to reduce fuel-quality disputes and quantity shorting. It centralizes bunker delivery notes (BDNs), lab COAs, mass flow meter readings, tank soundings, and time-stamped photos into a single audit trail per stem. An AI layer flags anomalies (e.g., density/viscosity inconsistencies, suspicious temperature corrections, repeated supplier patterns, and missing chain-of-custody steps) and generates a dispute-ready evidence pack in minutes. The app also provides a simple checklist workflow for chief engineers and port captains so data is captured consistently, not “after the fact.” This is not a magic “fraud detector”; it’s a practical evidence and process tool that makes it harder for problems to be ignored and easier to escalate with documentation. Integrations focus on email ingestion and common lab formats first to avoid long IT projects.
