BycatchProof is a mobile + web app that helps small-to-mid fisheries document and reduce bycatch with minimal friction. Crews log trips in seconds (gear type, location grid, target species, bycatch estimates) and optionally upload photos; the app auto-generates audit-ready reports for buyers, certifiers, and regulators. An AI layer flags inconsistent logs, suggests bycatch-reduction actions (e.g., hook type, net mods, time/area adjustments), and produces simple buyer-facing “evidence packets” that restaurants and distributors can trust. The hard truth: consumers won’t consistently pay more just because you say “ocean-friendly,” and most conservation apps die because they target the public. This targets the supply chain where money and compliance pressure already exist. Revenue comes from SaaS subscriptions for fisheries and “verified sourcing” seats for buyers, not donations.
