CabinCast

CabinCast is a mobile + web app that helps summer camps share parent-friendly updates with minimal staff effort. Counselors quickly log a few structured “moments” (activity, mood, health note, photo consent-safe image) in under 30 seconds. The app then auto-generates a daily digest per camper for parents, with strict controls: no public feeds, no tagging other kids, and automatic redaction tools for accidental faces of non-consented campers. Admins get a compliance dashboard for photo permissions, incident flags, and communication logs. This is an AI + traditional app: AI is used to turn sparse staff inputs into readable summaries, translate into multiple languages, and detect risky content (names, medical details, other children) before it goes out. The goal is fewer inbound parent calls and less staff burnout while improving trust.
