CabinetCut is a mobile + web app that prevents the most expensive kitchen-remodel DIY error: ordering cabinets that don’t fit. Users enter rough room dimensions, then use phone-based scanning to capture walls, windows, doors, soffits, and appliance locations. The app generates a cabinet-ready layout with clearances (walkways, door swings, dishwasher/opening conflicts), filler/trim needs, and a cut list for panels and toe-kicks. It also produces a shopping checklist (cabinet sizes, hardware, fillers, end panels) and a “red flag” report that highlights common gotchas like out-of-square corners, uneven floors, and vent/pipe conflicts. This is not a full-blown design studio; it’s a practical fit-check and ordering assistant aimed at reducing returns, delays, and rework.
