CableFit is a mobile + web app that prevents wrong cable/adapter purchases by identifying your device ports and required specs in seconds. You point your phone camera at a laptop/phone/console port and the app suggests the exact cable/adapter type (USB-C PD wattage, HDMI version, DisplayPort alt-mode, Thunderbolt, barrel size, etc.) and warns about common traps like “charging-only” cables, fake e-markers, and underpowered chargers. It then links to verified listings from major retailers and brands, with a “will it work?” confidence score and a short explanation. The web app lets you build a household/office device library and share a shopping list with compatibility notes. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI vision helps identify ports and labels, while a rules/spec database enforces compatibility logic. Monetization is affiliate revenue plus a small subscription for teams.
