CableLabelr

CableLabelr is a mobile + web app that helps people stop losing time to mystery cables. You scan a cable’s ends (USB-C, HDMI, barrel jack, etc.), optionally add length and notes, then generate a clean label template sized for common label makers (Brother P-touch and DYMO). The app stores a simple inventory so you can search later (“USB-C to DP, 2m, for monitor”) and reprint labels when they peel or fade. It also supports QR labels: scan the tag later to see what the cable is for, where it’s used, and when you bought it. This is not glamorous, but it’s a real annoyance in homes, studios, IT closets, and event kits. The MVP focuses on fast labeling and reprinting, not trying to “identify every cable perfectly” (which is unreliable).
