CageCardPro is a web + mobile app for laboratory animal facilities to digitize cage cards, daily health checks, and compliance logs without relying on paper that gets lost, smudged, or outdated. Technicians scan a QR code on each cage to view protocol info, animal IDs, special handling notes, and required observations, then record checks in seconds with timestamps and user attribution. The system flags missed rounds, overdue observations, and animals needing follow-up, and produces audit-ready reports for IACUC, AAALAC, and internal QA. An optional AI layer reads free-text notes to suggest standardized terms (e.g., body condition, clinical signs) and highlights inconsistent entries, but it does not “diagnose.” This is not glamorous software; it’s operational plumbing that reduces preventable mistakes, saves time, and lowers compliance risk in a high-stakes environment.
