CalibGuard

CalibGuard is a desktop + web app for robotics teams that continuously validates SLAM quality and sensor calibration across builds, environments, and hardware revisions. You upload rosbag/MCAP logs (or stream from CI rigs), and it runs repeatable benchmarks: trajectory consistency, loop-closure stability, map entropy, time-sync checks, and camera/LiDAR/IMU extrinsic sanity tests. It then produces a single “release gate” report with pass/fail thresholds, regressions vs last known-good, and a short list of likely root causes (e.g., IMU bias jump, rolling-shutter mismatch, LiDAR timestamp skew). It’s not a magic SLAM solver; it’s a pragmatic QA layer that reduces field failures and embarrassing demos. The app integrates with GitHub Actions/Jenkins so teams can block merges when mapping/localization metrics degrade. Expect some upfront work to define thresholds, but once tuned it saves weeks of debugging.
